I guess I find it odd that LSU fans come on here starting a thread like this, when they continually put their own team as contenders, but don't want anybody else to consider A&M a contender.
You can spin it any way you want, but all of you insinuate that they can't contend, while always saying LSU will contend. Right now...I would say A&M has a better chance of contending than LSU.
A&M's freshmen and young players are producing more right now. Who knows. maybe it will change...but starting threads like this?
(By the way...I realize you did not start this thread, but it WAS a LSU fan)

LSU has sent the most to the NFL over the last few years and still wins 10 games on average.
We have a proven record of doing this over the 10 years Miles has been here.

You forgot to say the one extra loss was a direct 34-10 drubbing in a game LSU didn't play all that well.

Myles Garrett. Having the best defensive player in the SEC makes a difference.

When did I say they didn't?
However, when you look at making a logical decision based on facts LSU would seem a better choice to reach 10 wins than A&M.
Hell Ark could win 10 games with your argument. As long as you feel good about it right?????????

You also lost to a Georgia team that lost 5 games. AND, Gurley went down in the first quarter.
Hey...I was not saying LSU couldn't contend or would not contend. But don't you think based on the two games both teams have played that they have every right to be as optimistic as LSU?

That was A&Ms worst game and afterwards most thought that was LSUs best game. Not sure where you are rewriting the history on that one. LSU played out of their minds and then came out flat against Arkansas.

Well, I don't think given the eye test that Arkansas has a chance at 10 wins. NOBODY would say that outside of an Arkansas fan!
But you guys have beaten A&M the last two years. I guess I just don't understand the disdain you guys show them.

If you want to discuss LSU then start your own damn thread. Mother of God! This was actually a decent discussion then you, a UGA Fan, which was no where mentioned, pull the douche twist. Let A&M and LSU have a discussion
