That ONE 10 win season in 10 years doesn't get you many tokens at the respect machine.

WRs and TEs generally are not in the trenches…
Looking at a couple projected depth charts for Texas Oline y’all need to beef up. 4 guys over 305. Out of your 2 deep? And at Dline, outside of the NG(which are likely to big 350ish for both) no one was over 305 and the DEs were around 270 in a 3 man front.
By comparison, Tennessee was decimated by transfers and scandal to the point the staff is really cobbling together an Oline with guys with little experience that were deep on the depth chart and only 1 guy is under 315 in the 2 deep (10 guys). The DLine suffered even worse and they still have 20 pounds on Texas’s 2 deep.
As for UGA? Their Oline has 30#+ on Texas across the board. And the only size advantage Texas has in the Dline is at back up NT.
Size and quality depth. It looks like Texas has a couple years to address the deficiencies in both. Having good starters might be enough in the big 12, I guess we would need to ask Oklahoma about it, but in the SEC you need to go 3 deep with guys you can put out there at most potions to complete. That’s why UGA wins games. They out recruit so they can put roster teams. If they ever got serious about a coaching staff to be able to compete with equal depth teams they could be an elite program. Fortunately they are too cheap to pay players and staff.

It's amazing that with all that size Texas can't seem to beat Maryland, Iowa State or Kansas State.
Maybe you need a little talent to go with the size?

My bad. It was TCU and Maryland Texas couldn't beat. Better?
