We started at Number 1 and the preseason #1 tends to stay there until they lose...which is how it should be.

Preseason polls are bullshite. No one deserves to be anywhere due to a preseason poll. With that being said, it's Florida's spot until they lose it. But not because of preseason hype.

I didn't say there should be preseason polls. My statemet, boiled down, said what your's does:they deserve it until they lose it.

If Bama doesnt get to the SEC championship, they wouldnt deserve #1 anyway.

And let's hope LSU has a lot to do with that.

If by some miracle LSU beats Bama on Nov. 7, it probably won't matter much since LSU will have 2 SEC losses.

What? Is this the gump version of new math? I only see one loss on our record and that was to the #1 team in the country, which is NOT Bama.

Yeah the truth is because they beat you last year and then won the MNC, so they started out #1.

Deal with it. If you don't like it, beat them. You'll have your chance in Atlanta. Until then, don't worry about it.

Bama's QB play solidified itself as #2 behind Florida. Bama has to earn its way. UF has already done that.

cause we didn't struggle with florida international/atlantic.....lol.

40-14 isn't much of a struggle...If you want to use your logic

BAMA 35 Arkansas 7
UF and Refs 23 Arkansas 20

Doesn't matter, hopefully we will get our shot in December.

Defending National champions and they have not lost yet. There is no way Alabama should be anywhere near #1. Unless Florida loses, they stay #1.

I agree and UF is maybe 80% the team they were in 08. They may not win the east.
