That's a good question. I know I am looking forward to when State faces them.

Collins, Williams and Kiero will be the most NFL-like stable of backs USC-e will face this year

Why would he be scared of those guys, he had to deal with Mike Davis all offseason in spring/summer/fall practices.

It might depend on what Arkansas can do against USC if they are going to be continued to be considered a top SEC backfield. Arky bloated their rushing stats against cupcakes and nobodies in their first 3 games - averaging nearly 300 rushing yds a game against LA-Lafayette, Samford, and Southern Miss. It's those performances that Arkansas has such a high ranking in the stats today....

But against better-quality opponents the last 3 games, Arkansas has struggled to rush for three-digit averages. Looks like their quality rushing game is just a farce. USC will come in Saturday with a solid if not stout rushing defense: minus UGA they are averaging allowing barely over 100 rushing yds per game, and 1 rushing TD per game.

So we'll see if Arkansas' backfield is deserving or not...

They may be the best backfield ON the SEC, but who's the best backfield IN the SEC?

lol

Arkansas would have had better offensive numbers against So Miss and Rutgers if Allen had played in those games. They both stacked the box on our walk on backup. Arkansas gained 63 more yards on Florida than Miami did and that was with several dropped passes. We have a good offense.

What else do you expect? They were trying to get off our schedule.

Hmm....stats show that Allen was predominantly your QB in 2 of those last 3 games...

Arkansas has one of the worst passing attacks in the SEC. Why wouldn't ANYONE stack the box and make you throw, regardless of who is your QB?

We have played the best offense in the country in TAMU and the best defense in Florida. We started a walk-on quarterback in two of our games who was not much of a passing threat. Our stats are skewed because of all this. I feel very good about our chances on Saturday. Kentucky and UCF gave SCAR all they wanted. Your team is way overrated.

allen got hurt in the 1st qtr of the southern miss game. allen played against a&m and florida- the passing game sucked balls against florida mainly because the wr's dropped a shitload of easily catchable passes.

as an aside- this is why i frankly think florida's d is overrated and if it's the best in the nation then football defenses must suck as a whole this year.

Compare Miami's offensive production against Florida to their offensive production against the rest of their opponents.

Florida is legit on defense. You are right though. We dropped a lot of passes but Allen could have been more accurate too.
