Why is Auburn called the family?
Because they are all incestuous.
And nice Manson family pic there. I wonder who Auburn's version of Squeeky From is.

Front right...was wondering if anyone else would recognize her.

Because they are all alone against the great big monster Alabama and Alabama conspires with state politicians, the SEC, the NCAA, the FBI, the Justice Dept, Dept. of Education, university accreditation orgs, major news media outlets, the Vatican (not kidding, they really believe this. OK maybe not the Vatican) all to keep Auburn from succeeding in any way shape or form and anything illegal or unethical that occurs at Auburn is part of the conspiracy. Of course, if you ask them how they managed to win a national championship AND have not only the NCAA but the SEC also keep a player, who probably should have been suspended, eligible you will get a blank stare. They can't explain it.

Family is another Auburn word that is spelled one way and pronounced another (See Jordan "Jerdan" Hare).Family is actually pronounced "FAMLA." This is how Pat Dye says it so it has to be true!
I don't know what FAMLA means but it could be an acronym for (FARM ANIMAL-MAN LOVERS ASSOCIATION). Maybe?
I admit it, I have a man crush on Coach Malzahn and am AUBSESSED!!

That is not am Auburn word, that is a Jordan Family word.
This may shock you but when Coach Jordan was in grade school...it was pronounced Jerdan then too.

quote:The sad part is you took the time to point that out like it changes that the nation sees bama fans as the inbreds. I'll fix the left out word. Sorry I can't fix yall's image. But maybe if you call Auburn fans that enough and get enough bama fans to agree on here, it might change something.

I don't know a single Alabama fan that participates in incest, I do however know an auburn fan that married his second cousin.

quote:I can honestly say I don't know any Auburn families like that but do know a couple of Bama ones. But its their kids that suffers for their parents' stupidity. But overall it has nothing to do with what is true. Its just an image people put in their heads when they think of certain fans.

It's a small conservative school with a predominant white Christian populous and fan base. It refers to the close connection Auburn fans are supposed to have for one another. It's essentially a different way of saying fanbase and beats saying "Auburn Nation" like Gator Nation.
