Rooting for BAMA to win out with Washington losing 1.
BAMA losing decreases our SOS in the committees eyes.

If bama is going to lose they need to lose twice. Otherwise they néed to go undefeated. If they only lose once Ag's have no chance.

It's even more amazingly obtuse from the fan base that saw a non SEC champ Alabama get in, as well as a non Big 12 champ OU.
If non champs could get into the 2 slots for the BCS, they can get into the 4 slots for the playoffs.
Of course, this has nothing to do with logic or precedence, and 100% to do with the tiggers knowing how badly they would melt if A&M got a playoff berth before they did. There extremely fragile little egos just couldn't bear it.

The BDF champion is virtually guaranteed to be left out, even with one loss. In fact, it was very likely to be left out if it was undefeated.
The Pac-12 is dog shite right now and everyone knows it. Teams should not be penalized for playing in tougher conferences. Its one of the primary reasons they are doing this by committee. Similar to how the NCAA committee doesn't penalize Big East and ACC basketball teams, there is a very good chance a 1 loss SEC runner up makes the playoffs eventually. In fact, I can almost guarantee it.
Of course, if it was LSU with their only loss to a #1 Bama, they would be declaring it a near certainty that they were in. It's A&M, so they are moving the goal posts out of pure, unadulterated, arse hurt, and nothing else.
