Cool, show me something objective that says so. If Bama's was 54% to UGA's 55%, someone could still say "well people don't even bother applying to UGA because they know they won't get in." Anecdotes are weak-- especially when there's a sample size of 50,000 applicants worth of data.

They're from the College Board, the organization that makes and administers the SAT and AP exams.
eta: On KSU's page under the blank waitlist stats it says "data wasn't supplied by college," implying that the data that is present was supplied by them.

It says that Kennesaw State has the same acceptance rate as UGA...

Also, when you Google "UGA acceptance rate" and UA this comes up.
Either way, he claimed UGA is "much harder" to get into and I'm not seeing anything that supports that.

Clearly just angry because Georgia actually is "much harder to get into" than Auburn.

Georgia is way better than those schools though (with the obvious exception of GT).

I got into Kennesaw State and went there for 2 years before transferring to UF. There's no way I would've been accepted to UGA first, and this was only a few years ago.

Using your logic, its harder to get into bama than auburn. Now who has the higher entrance requirements/stats between the two, again?
Acceptance rates aren't directly correlated with entrance requirements.
It's easy to deny unqualified applicants

How exactly do you reach that conclusion using my logic? The only data I've been pointing to is acceptance rates.

And acceptance rates don't mean shite as far as how hard it is to get into a school. That is assuming by hard, your mean one needs better stats.

Yeah I know I was being facetious. IMO, acceptance rankings are over used & aren't always necessarily a good representation of the overall quality of a university. Plus, universities can also easily manipulate their rates.
For example:
tOSU's & UIUC acceptance rates are below (both are considered two top 15 public U.S. universities ).
& you compare Ole Miss at 61.1%

He didn't say UGA was better in overall quality though. He said it's easier to get into.
UGA IS higher than UA in the USNWR college rankings. But when he says it's "much harder" to get into than Bama, and includes UGA in the same sentence as Texas and Florida, it's just not accurate.

I still don't see where you're coming from with Auburn being harder to get into than Bama. Not only is Bama's acceptance rate lower by 20%, but Bama is higher in the rankings that most people look to: USNWR.

So you don't see how acceptance rates don't really mean anything?
Auburns entrance requirements are slightly higher than bama's, thus harder to get into.
I'm not sure you understand what qualifies as harder to get into, as usnwr and acceptance rates have nothing to do with it.
Acceptance rates as a comparison for qualifications or hardness to get into a school is like comparing your golf score on a par 3 and a normal course. Hell, are you trying to say kennesaw state is as hard to get into as bama or florida?
