We don't want to play either Oregon or Bama. We already played those 2 teams. Bring on OU. They will jump both of those teams should they beat OSU.
Do you think it would have been an appropriate rematch of any teams? I don't.
The BCS was set-up in part to have the 2 best teams play AT ANY POINT during the season - not just the final game. Remember the saying that "each game is a playoff game" all these coaches and talking heads keep bringing up?
That's what makes college football so exciting. I heard it more than once.
The system is to discourage / prevent rematches and cases where teams that don't win their conference play in the NC. Also, keep in mind that the MONEY would all go to the SEC which would not set well with the other BCS Conferences.
Hell in the scenario you are referring to with Bama, you wouldn't have won your own division within your conference.
What if LSU should lose? Why would Bama or Oregon deserve to be in the championship game considering that NEITHER team played a schedule nearly as grueling as LSUs. Why should either of those teams "deserve" a nod over an LSU?
So, if LSU wins out and OU beats OSU, then LSU and OU will play for it again. It will be 2003 Part II in NOLA.

Obviously they would rather play Oregon because they would destroy Oregon again.
LSU and Alabama (for the most part) respect each other, because we both know that the only team that can beat us is the other one. They don't want to play us again because they beat us once already and doing so again would be very difficult and seem unfair. I'd probably feel the same way if I were in their shoes, but they of course would want a rematch if they were in our shoes.
Why shouldn't the best two teams in the country be playing each other, though?

Lulz, no. OU just lost a buttload of potential points when OSU lost last night to a 4-TD underdog.

OSU SOS will still be in the top 5.
Bama will get passed because of the human element REGARDLESS of what the talking heads keep saying about any rematch. When they look at those ballots they will NOT allow the SEC to take home all of that MONEY. So it will be down to Oregon or OU. And I see OU getting the nod over oregon because LSU beat the snot out of Oregon.
They (voters) would not want to see that again. the 2/3s factor and the computers will put OU in.

Lulz, no. Just because you want it to be so doesn't mean it will be.

I don't really care who LSU plays as long as they are in it. Should they lose to arky, they would still deserve to be in it based on their SOS and the fact that they would have beaten both Bama and Oregon.
We may be delusional in the SEC and think we deserve it all, but if you travel as much as I have the last 2+ years, you would find out that people (voters) care about their own conference and want money just like the SEC. Why do you think all this realignment has been happening? Get serious for a second and think about what that would be to other conferences putting 2 SEC teams in that game? It would be a slap in the face.
