True but you would have to deal with this crap if he’s your coach. If the bama job opens I could see him bolting for it.

You're probably right

I completely understand I can understand him considering LSU .but Florida is over hyped ..they haven't done anything in 16 years!. despite their claims " oh we have top recruits nearby, oh we have more money, bigger stadium etc..it hasn't done them much good. With NIL Florida players are going to other schools you can't load your team anymore like Urban did or Bama.
LSU wins RECENT national championships with 3 different coaches 2 of them they won in spite of their head coach BK won 10 games his first 2 years.
Now for the same reason you don't take the job you can be fired too if you don't produce in 2-3 years
I've seen/ heard LSU offering 13.5 per year 4-5 years guaranteed
Florida is offering 15 per year for 6? Guaranteed
Ole Miss 12.5...
now if he shits the bed...your stuck with him.. then where do you go from there ?
You can't pay less to some successful new coach he will want the same or a short guaranteed contract. It's a high stakes game, look at Auburn and Freeze...
Sometimes it just doesn't translate from one school to another..now I think he would win at LSU..
Florida I'm not so sure..but his reputation is going to take a big hit it may be the last major job he gets..if he stays he can still possibly get the Texas or Bama job in a year or 2.. Florida will be open again in 3 years if he doesn't go
