Why does everyone think Arkansas has a great running game?

I was reading the OM/Arky prediction thread and even OM fans mentioned multiple times Arky ramming it down their throats. Is it because that's their style and people think their ground game should be dominant? I don't get it?

They are (conference games only) 9th in the SEC in rushing, 8th in YPC and 8th in TDs.

They are average to slightly below running the ball. What gives?

You'll see soon enough how good or bad it is yourself.

Because we haven't played mizzo yet. And we don't play Kentucky, vandy, Tennessee, and south Carolina like y'all do.

Yeah, people have been saying this is an LSU type matchup for us, except LSU was a better running team and has a good pass D.

Arkansas has the worst pass D in the conference.

What's their win-loss in sec games? Seems to me maybe they have to stop running to try and win game.

Agree, but they've tightened it up considerably since A&M/GA games. I do think that if Bad Bo gets like Anthony Jennings type Bad Bo, it could be a long day for the Rebs. If Dr. Bro comes to Fayetteville prepared for surgery.... we fuuuuuuucked.

Rain will be the hogs' pass defense sat. Sloppy track is gonna favor the bigger, stronger team, not the quick and light team imo

Yet mighty WAOM is only favored by 3 at this point? Top 10 team playing unranked 1-17 SEC doormat? Strange.

Not really. It's a road SEC game dummy

If you keep repeating it, it doesn't make it true.

This should be bookmarked.

So you're confident your undersized team can matchup with a huge team on a soggy field? Your advantage on defense is quickness. Rain negates that

You have the worst pass defense. No you arent last in yards given up per game. Thats because you have the least pass attempts thrown against you. Look at QB rating... look at passing TD's. Given you have already faced LSU and your numbers are that bad warrants the "worst pass defense" label.

Yes. However if our offense plays badly we will lose because we can't keep throwing the defense out there.

The rain is an actual mismatch problem for OM. Not arky's team. They arent lsu running and their defense plays into our hands. No OM fan thinks we run away with this, just arguing that we are favored for a reason.

It's a fact. Why would it need to be bookmarked?

I certainly hope you are insinuating they are going to run on Mizzou???

Maybe so. I can see this game going either way. I still think you will be much easier to defend without treadwell. If tunsil isn't 85-90%, flowers will tear you guys up.
