Why do so many believe Gary Danielson pulls for Alabama?

When I watch a Bama game and Gary is commentating I always feel like he can’t hide the fact he desperately wants us to lose. But other teams always say the opposite.
Do y’all really believe a guy from Michigan, who went to Purdue truly wants Bama to win every game? If so, why?

Most Bama fans I know mute Gary every game because they hate him more than anyone on here I promise, Now why would they do that if he was sunshine pumping non stop? It baffles my arse

I use to listen to Gary but a few years back he got unbearable. He seems to always pull against us. That’s the way a lot of our fans feel so I was just asking why opposing fans felt Gary loves the Tide and you’re giving me nothing. But apparently there’s jizz on his mouth or something.

I feel the only reason Danielson might show favoritism to Bama is due to Saban. Both men have very similar backgrounds. They were born in the same year only one month apart and grew up and attended colleges in rust belt states. Danielson relates to Saban in a lot of ways and probably finds it cool that someone with life experiences very much alike to his own is doing so well.
