They thought that Alabama was finished and that they would be the top team going fowarded.
But when Saban came back from the NFL and took the job at Alabama, they knew they were fricked.
Bama getting back to where it's suppose to be, and the other teams are pissed.
In top 3 for stupidest post!

Bama fans are gonna lose it.

Hell I like the Saban order. LSU looking for ATL invite for 6th time in 12 years. That ISU comet isn't an annual event.

Not going to read all the pages, but my opinion is that LSU filled the void left by Alabama when we got slapped with probation.

Ah, yes, the Bama manifest destiny belief. Awesome!

At least we are equal opportunity. We boo the players, the opposing team, the coaches, the playcalls, the refs, the commentators, the band, the seats, and even other fans.
And we boo the traffic lights when they are red!!

Maybe Chicken can move te SEC Rant to Tidefans and then we can see who everyone thinks has the whiniest fanbase. Larger concentration of LSU fans = larger concentration of morons and whiners who follow LSU.

The plain and simple reason why LSU fans scream about preferential treatment from the SEC is that the SEC has no plausible deniability when it comes to claims of favoritism. The SEC office is staffed by Bama residents and grads. Why would they not give their friends and neighbors the benefit of the doubt?? Imagine working at the SEC scheduling office and screwing Bama, then having to face people who know what you do for a living at church, restaurants, Little League games, etc... As long as the office is in Birmingham, there will be a shadow of favoritism that hangs over every SEC decision. The head of officiating is a Bama grad for Christ's sake.
There is a really very simple fix to this. Move the SEC office out of Bama to an impartial site and funnel all hiring through an agency with zero ties to the Deep South..

If the SEC offices are in Bama, then why doesn't Auburn get "special treatment?" I really don't understand the bitching about Bama's schedule next year. Tenn is a huge rivalry for them and UF has been on LSU's schedule forever. What's the big deal?

Oh, you're serious? Have you looked at the schedules? This year, last year, and next year's schedule!! My guess would be Auburn doesn't have

You don't have to win your division
You have to have your coach (Saban) go on ESPN and cry and beg for another chance!! Amiright?

UF is a given and is anybody really that scared of UGA next year? Let Bama have an easy schedule. If they steam roll UT and whoever they play next week, they'll be in complete shock when they get smacked in the mouth on Nov. 3. If it's a down to the wire game, you'd have to give the edge to LSU at the end since they are more of a battle tested team and the game is at home.
