38% or over one third of the staff at the SECHQ are graduates of the University of Alabama.

38% of the staff is only 9 people at SEC HQ?

Thats a tiny office to run this conference

Also, Timothy, in case you haven’t noticed, I’m clearly just fricking with you.

I spent four years stationed in NOLA and loved every minute of it. 10/10 would hang with LSU fans again.

Y’all have thicker skin irl tho. Lots of laughs over some good food and Abita.

It doesn't prove anything, nor disprove anything. The fact that I keep posting has nothing to do with it. You can't argue against that fact if I haven't made a mistake for you to pick apart.

That's how this works.

Your mistake was saying that you didn’t care, baw.

Either that, or it was a lie.

Seems to be an interchangeable word with you and your alter nola2000 tho

Oh yeah? Well I've spent the past 14 years in New Jersey... and now you understand where I'm coming from.

No Abita in Jersey, I don’t think :(
I spent 8 weeks in Cape May, but it was the worst 8 weeks of my life. You don’t really get to enjoy the scenery in boot camp.

All I remember about NJ is it got colder than I ever thought cold could be. Snow sucks.

Your first impression was valid despite not getting the whole experience. The closer you get to the NYC area of New Jersey, the worse it gets. Trust me when I tell you that the beer selection isn't the problem.

There were 47 employees listed on the conference website under SEC Office Staff Directory. There are obviously many more people employed by the SEC but these 47 are the key players in decision making as they are the admins in the HQ.

You listed 9, unless you changed it once again. 9/47 is not 38%

not according to you...

yup, but the Bama alums dont have any oversight, so they get away with these things, right....

Posters like nola000 are the reason Bama fans say LSU fans whine.

You werent paying attention.

Did you read my ENTIRE post?

Were you the kid that your mother had to drag you back in the bathroom to make sure you wiped your entire arse?

1. I said that I could only find the alma maters of about 50% of the admins at SECHQ.

2. Of the 50% I could find info on, 9 of them were Alabama grads.

3. Assuming that percentage would hold true for the remaining 50% that I couldnt find info on, that means that there would be an assumed total of 18 Alabama grads employed in the admin ranks of the SEC.

4. 18/47 is 38.3%.

If you want to argue whether or not the "mystery 50" would reveal similar numbers as the known 50, well then thats a separate, albeit relevant argument altogether.

not according to you...

These are the key decision makers and the people with power as listed on the SECs own staff directory.

Are you being willfully dense?

...or is your density as mysterious to you as the alma maters of those 23.5 SECHQ admins?

You have no idea how corporate culture is formed, fomented or actionable, do you?

You never said admins and made the claim of the entire staff...

This is your problem from day 1 of your LSU indoctrination...

We have statistical evidence that concluded to a reasonable degree of scientific certainty that Bama gets all the critical calls all the time. Not bitching just quoting facts, it’s even a wiki page.

But it’s actually the higher ranked team as the SEC protects its meal ticket. This year we are getting two teams in playoffs so I guess we can’t bitch too much. Plus really the refs aren’t nearly as bad this year as in years past

Some of the SEC-Bama links are suspect but overall I think the main agenda is the SEC always having its 1-2 show pony teams each season and being willing, when able, to alter game outcomes to ensure that happens. If Bama started playing like Vandy I don't think the favor would continue just bc they're Bama, it would just shift to whoever the "it" team(s) was that season.
