We have a game with the #3 team in the nation this weekend to focus on anyway, offseason over.
And you call us Hog fans homers, and delusional?
I bet LSU players are pissing themselves right now, knowing that Draconian Sanctions is not focused on the Oregon Ducks. I hope all of you corndogs were good enough not to tell the team that he has lost his focus. If you have, shame on you, they are fooked!
54-10 Oregon

Arky should engrave that on their NC trophy.

It's a natural rivalry- and I'm already looking forward to Nov. 25th.
I never thought of it as being even close to a rivalry until after Katrina and alot of LSU fans moved up here for a while that became buddys.
Now we usually get together for the game and its a friendly rivalry with alot of drunkenness and shite talking.

Based on that site you linked, entering the year 2000.....
LSU - 618 wins 62.5%
Arky - 593 wins 59%
So I'm not sure what you are arguing.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you were the one who brought up the post WWII number?
Teams were not the same during the war. They were much better after since all the kids were home to play football.
Taking anything into consideration during all of the war time is unfair to many schools. I know it had a huge impact on the military institutions. The college football landscape totally changed after WWII

Actually makes sense. If football is being played though then it still counts IMO. Definitely makes sense though

I was just predicting the score if Draconian Sanctions is not focused on your opponent. You know how you guys always suck when he doesn't have his head in the game.

And then I proved it.
You've proven nothing actually, other than LSu is better program wise from 2000-2010
quote:
No, you took the one period that everyone agrees that LSU and Arkansas were roughly on the same level and touted it as "proof" that Arkansas was a better program than LSU during that period, which it doesn't show at all.
No? I took the 50 or so years prior to 2000, when LSU made a great hire soon after as proof that Arkansas had a better program for that stretch of time than LSU.
Arkansas had more top 10 finishes, more 10 win seasons, less losing seasons than LSU did.

But it's undisputed that LSU was a top 15 program every decade from the 30's through the end of the 80's before the anomaly that is the 1990s
1930-1939 LSU ranks 22nd in win pct.
1940-1949 LSU ranks 31st in win pct.
1950-1959 LSU ranks 50th in win pct.
1960-1969 LSU ranks 12th in win pct.
1970-1979 LSU ranks 23rd in win pct.
1980-1989 LSU ranks 29th in win pct.
1990-1999 LSU ranks 59th in win pct.
