I've been to both and I'll agree they're on the same level, but I still like the look of LSU's more than Swayze.

This is what a non-homer would say.
I can respect this opinion.

Anyone claiming that Swayze is not on the same level as their stadium either doesn't know what they are talking about or lying through their teeth.

When Box is finished will it be on a different level? Possibly?

Right now, though? No way.

i see the bleacher is your main driving point. its somewhat legitimate but not really. most stadiums have bleachers. everything else about the park is lightyears nicer than swayze.

well i guess this settles it. i havent. i must be mistaken.

You just said that your basing your opinions on your visit from two years ago. It's not even the same stadium. We tore the old one down all the way to the skeleton.

cool....but we aren't sitting on walls. And even still, the walls won't burn the shite out of us in the sun.
im talking about the walls in the grand stand specifically

bleacher seats are irrelevant in this instance

i just dont like the grandstand area

The Purple, Yellow, and Green seats?
The bleachers in the outfield?
The backdrop?
The pale yellow concrete in the grandstand?

There are arguments, but you didn't pick the right ones.

Nice!

But seriously, that rendition of the future stadium looks great.

Your suite level has some of the ugliest pale yellow concrete I've ever seen.

That's great if you want to be like most stadiums. But we're talking about elite stadiums of the nation.

And the bleachers aren't my only negative about the new box. It looks incomplete(because it it) and the ads make the outfield look like shite.

The front of the stadium is the only thing I'll credit Box for being nicer than Swayze.

That's really cool.

The woods to the right field of swayze is actually William Faulkner's back yard.

There are some beautiful walking trails through there.

HA. that pond is awesome.

Honestly though.....if that were at Ole Miss, I could see a tradition starting of students pond diving after every win.

Wish it were light enough to see it.

Thinking about making a game or two this weekend. You down? We'll bring cans this time.

Agreed. That's definitely their saving grace right now until the complete the inside.
