First off, I highly doubt he's coming here. And yes he likes to talk and has the mentor and all but if there is anything the RP fiasco taught us is that it doesn't even matter if you're our starting QB. One to many screw ups, and you're gone. If he is really dumb enough to still break the rules (on a team that goes running back by committee, keep in mind) than he has truly given stupidity a new name.

maybe so. either way i dont think bryce is a bad kid but some what of a attention whore. the main problem i have is his handler that can't be a good thing for any school and is just asking for trouble.

I don't know enough about the handler situation, but the kid himself doesn't strike me as a future criminal. Pryor held out like this and everything worked out for him, regardless of what we think about him.
By the way, what's the situation with handler?

The real reason for Bryce Brown's delay? More membership fees!

"On a Web site, Butler sells updates of Brown’s recruitment for $9.99 a month or $59 a year. He also seeks contributions that he says are used to take players on a tour of colleges each summer."

yea the kid himself doesnt seem to be bad. I dont think he has any actual problems. I don't know about the handler but it just seems like it would bring problems.

It's amazing how great judges of character so many are based on articles having never met the young man. If Miles or Porter aren't concerned, why should anyone on a keyboard be? They are far closer to the situation that anyone on this board. Don't congratulate the coaches one day and then doubt their judgement the next. Just let it play out. Rueban Randle caught the same crap until many found out he would be coming to LSU.

If, IF, this is true, then all of your comments that he isn't a problem or that LSU would be stupid to not go after Brown proves how dumb some LSU fans really are. If I held the opinion that one player doesn't make or break a recruiting class when it came to RR, I sure in the hell am not worried about Brown coming to LSU. I hope he finds somewhere he fits in and is happy, but I do not want that place to be LSU.
