I would like to see Florida left out soley because if most people believe they are the best or 2nd best team in the nation, that is just more bcs controversy. More and more people will realize that the bcs system is garbage and that it is fundamentally impossible to select just 2 deserving teams at the end of the season.

I'm thinking that it is becoming hard to deny that the BCS is in desperate need of change. It may be more "exciting", but that definitely doesn't correlate to being better.

Really over an undefeated Penn St. team or a 1 loss Big-12 South team in a much tougher conference? Impossible to say

If Bama is unbeaten and #1 at the time of the SECCG and Fla beats them. FLA WILL pass a 1 loss Big-12 South 1 loss team. Only because the BEST a Big 12 South team can do in the Big 12 CG is a two loss Mizzou team.

If we win this weekend, we will play for the NC!
IMO, LSU is a better test for us in the trenches and I don't think UF can match up with our OL or DL.
UF has looked impressive in their last 3 wins but all of those, their opponent made crucial mistakes and UF capitalized on them. I think we're a much more disciplined team than what some may think.

So lets say it is Texas over a 2 loss Missouri team. At the end Texas' win over a 1 loss OU team is far better than Florida's win over a 1 loss Alabama team.

Are you serious??? LSU has a horrible defense. Florida will be the toughest team you play. I can see Alabama beating them, as Florida feasts on opponent mistakes, and Bama plays much more disciplined than Florida's other opponents.

Both would be at neutral sites and both OU and Bama was #1 at the time.

I said that because of the style of ball we play. We are very physical and I don't think UF is. They are a finesse team that has been feasting on their opponent's mistakes.
LSU is also a physical team but they made too many mistakes on the road to be able to overcome them.

I can honestly say that because if that scenario plays out OU will be ranked higher in all of the human polls, and much higher in every single computer poll. All of the data will point to OU being the stronger team.

Penn St. with out a doubt. The Joe Pa story line will get them in. The media is looking for a story! The coaches will want to reward one of their own.
It is sad that the big 10 can slip a team in every year because of a weak arse conference.
UF will utterly disgrace them. Penn St couldnt hang with UF's third string.

The SECCCG should be the NC if Alabama is 12-0 and UF is 11-1.

You are not getting this!! If BAMA is unbeaten and FLA beats them they will pass OU!!!
