I do not know. My stomach turns at the thought of cheering for either team.

All you have to do is watch the games. LSU has no chance. Florida is better in every phase of football.

You were capable of punting repeatedly and having that famous LSU luck at the end
....says the guy that obviously did not watch the LSU game. We did not punt the entire first half. Never. Not once!!

I know CBS sometimes has double headers. I just did not know any other games warranted a double header.

And...? Do you want a cookie for not punting in the first half? Two FGs, and INT, and a turnover on downs isn't much better. 4 straight punts in the second half. Jefferson looks worse every game he plays.

I watched it, alright. Cox couldn't hit a receiver to save his life, and he still looked better than Jefferson. Crowton keeps calling that dumbass option almost every play. Your best chance at winning games at this point is to put in Shepard or Lee and hope Crowton gets a clue.

LSU has a hellava chance. I though half of the LSU oline played like it had food poisoning yesterday. They kept their heads and found a way to win. That is heap big medicine. Bama fans will tell you that after watching the Franphony/Shula era games.

Against the UThugs, Tebow looked like he carried the team to me. If he plays against the corndogs, he becomes Bubble Boy instead of Baby Rhino. Knowing he'll be second-guessed if Tebow gets knocked into Rainman territory, Meyer ain't gonna call on him to play pseudo-fullback as usual.

Another intangible is the distraction effect of thinking about Tebow in a wheelchair. While UF is cringing about any oline breakdown could result in TT becoming a veg, the only other thing corndogs have to think about this weekend besides playing football is picking their noses and flicking boogers at each other. Major advantage to LSU IMHO.

Florida is better on offense, defense, special teams and coaching. LSU's only advantage is home field.

Personally I hope tebow plays, if lsu wins I want it to be against a 100% fla team

if brantley starts i like our chances a whole bunch, not that brantley won't be a good player for fla but an lsu night game is a hell of a place to have to start you first game

I think it's very possible. Especially knowing that Florida will probably dial back the designed runs for Tebow trying to protect him from getting another concussion. Once you get a concussion or two it's easier to get the 3rd, 4th, etc.

This is from an article written by Dr. Rick Magley on the subject.

Remember, after the first concussion, reaction time may be slowed and the brain may be vulnerable to much less forceful blows. Even practicing at half speed may be an unacceptable risk. The risk of permanent brain damage goes up with each concussion, possibly causing memory loss, depression, and even reduced brain function to the point of inability to carry on with normal activities. It's one thing to have a limp or arthritic shoulder as a badge of honor to remind you of glory days. It's a whole different thing to not remember them.

LSU has a great chance...tebow got smashed and now his followers now realize he's not invincible. LSU has the defense to stop florida and they will.

Who thinks LSU will beat Florida?

The last time that LSU played #1 ranked Florida in Tiger Stadium it was a night game on CBS, October 11, 1997. #14 LSU won 28 -21. The last time that LSU played Florida at night in Tiger Stadium when Florida wasn't ranked #1, was October 6, 2007. LSU was ranked #1 and Florida was ranked 9th. The game was also on CBS, LSU won 28 -24.

Crazy things happen on Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium. Our defense has improved tremendously, and if the offense can muster more than 20 points Saturday, I say LSU comes away with a big win with or without Tebow starting for Florida.

Geaux Tigers!! Make us proud.
