re: Who misses the Toby Gerhart/Mark Ingram college football days?

What it’s done is create a demand for Patrick Peterson’s more than Lester Hayes/Ronnie Lott type safeties. Now PP is such a filthy athlete he’d succeed in any era. But the guys like Thomas Davis, Keanu Neal, & Eric Berry that prevented comfort are gone. Those guys certainly didn’t foster a receiver electively trying to make a one handed catch because they may get off the ground with their shoulder on their chest.
