wrong. LSU's biggest game of the year is always whoever is ahead of, even with, or right on our heels in the SEC West. the past couple of years it's been Alabama. when I was in school from 2001-2005 Alabama was mostly just another game.

This is the dumbest fricking argument I see. Auburn got great field position because LSU went for it on 4th down from their own 29. Why the hell would a team try and score when they can take a knee and win the game. A late score wouldn't have mattered anyway or made the game any different. It was a 1 score game with 5 minutes left when LSU got the ball for the last time.

From what I've seen it's Alabama. Sabans poorest coaching job ever (exept NFL) Losing 3 games with that talent is a total fail.

THIS. LSU was not as good as their record indicated and Bama was better than their record indicated.
I think LSU was a good team, but they were only able to put about 3 games away by the 4th quarter. They relied on pure luck to win at least 2 games, and struggled to put away McNeese State. Those are not the hallmarks of a great team.
Again, LSU was good, and all teams have a game or two that are closer than they should be, but many of the games LSU won made me question whether LSU was really the better of the 2 teams.

No. Bama was easily our most hyped game. I think Florida was probably more hyped than the Auburn game. Before Saban got to Bama I would say Auburn was our most hyped game of the year.
