I honestly had to look it up. And count forward from an article on in from October.

But this thread makes me sad. I’d like to get back to defense at Alabama.

I think injuries played somewhat of a factor for both Bama and LSU on defense in 2019. But, with the way we both recruit, I think we expect better out of our programs than what we saw.

Injuries and inexperience played a big role. But a young DC without a background under Saban didn’t help.

The LB corps has to be rebuilt in a bad way too. The Saban defense revolves around it. And it wasn’t good in 2019.
