First, you have to actually HAVE a fan base for it to be considered small. Those students you see at Vandy's stadium? They're just looking for a quiet place to study.
That's why they get all pissy when the other team's fans start making noise.
So please, when in Nashville, just keep it down - for the students.

A lot of Vandy season ticket holders are UT fans that buy Vandy Season tickets because they are dirt floor cheap and it provide decent entertainment if the Vols aren't playing that day/time.

I'm sure they're referring to the ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT, not director.

Most UT fans I know don't even watch their own teams games these days, let alone Vandy's.
