I go to a Catholic Church as well. I never see anybody in shorts. They even ask you to dress appropriate for mass. Kinda disrespectful to be in shorts.

I obviously don't go to the same church as you. The only people I see wearing pants are 40+ year old men. My priest has never said anything to the congregation about it.
