I assume that's the mentality of the Auburn AD from their recent hire
I will just put this out there. I taught in an inner city school in Alabama for more than a decade. Say what you will about a football player showing up with a new phone or some such, it in no way compared to what happened with potential basketball stars.
I spent years watching "friends" embed themselves with the mothers of these young players. The things that were going on made it very difficult to enjoy basketball.
For many of my students, athletics offered a chance for a scholarship and a better life in the future. I am not very good at it, but I used to make highlight reels for the kids who were not being seriously recruited so they could send them to JUCO's and other less high profile colleges. Never charged, these were my students and I cared about them.
The kids who were good at basketball were being handled by these "friends" who would help steer them and do what was "best". One actually tried to get me to work a deal where we would charge the poor parents of the kids.

Right now I would say FSU is worse than all you listed.

arkansas fan talking about other schools being dirty... Considering they spent 15 years on probation via Basketball, Football and track from 1997 until 2012. At one time they were listed as a "double" repeat offender.
Be thankful arky. When SMU was given the death penalty and Auburn was banned from TV in the early 90's the NCAA learned punishing a program cost everyone money and they developed the slap on the wrist policy after Bama and Means. Otherwise with the corruption displayed in your AD from 1997-2012 you may well be done with intercollegiate athletics.
So instead of slinging mud a simple thank you would suffice.

Why is Mississippi a bad joke exactly, Mr. Arkansas?
