Hate to disagree with a fellow Rebel, but I'm kind of a grammar nerd, and you are wrong. It's also not an either/or thing.
If a singular noun ends in an s, it is made possessive with an 's, unless the noun is Biblical or classical.

Bo- Tale of 2 QB's last night. First half, seemed jittery, unstable, unsure. 2nd half, cut through the Vandy D like soft butter.
Denzel- He was out there. Thats all I can say about that. Seems like Vandy was throwing deep to Matthews or avoiding our linebackers, which are our biggest strength on D.
Moncrief- Had a future NFL corner on him all game, and doubled. So opened the field for Treadwell. Moncrief got screwed one time by the refs for def pass int. Placed a mean block so Scott could run for the win.
