Trying to take players and coaches with you is just SOP in the portal era.

It isn’t SOP during the CWS. Especially in the finals. That little prick Weiner is just as bad.

Schloss is such a terrible person no player that actually played for him would follow. Only the recruits who don’t know him yet … same thing happened when he left TCU. He is not liked at all by his former players. Has a reputation

I’m gonna say something. And you are going to laugh and make fun of it. But I don’t give a damn.

Aggies hold Aggies to standards of conduct. We want to win yes. We hate Texas, yes.

But we absolutely hold dear the part of A&M that always aspires towards integrity and fairness. It’s something we value dearly.

Do we have bad apples? Certainly. I am NOT saying we are perfect. Far from it.

But what bothers us most about our former coach is how he handled himself as a leader and a representative of A&M. Cowering in a cemetery to hide what he was doing. Using burner phones to ensure he wasn’t caught.

Yeah, we’re upset about losing a good coach. And he absolutely is a great coach.

But the truth is we’re more disappointed in how one of our coaches behaved given our expectations for integrity amongst our coaches. That’s what bothers us. That we were wrong about his character and that we didn’t see it…and had him here anyway.

We should be boing ourselves and we know it. But we won’t do that. So we boo him.

Truth.

It's hard to take any of this "integrity talk" seriously when your current football coach lied to his former employer and then literally left in the middle of the night and no Aggies seem to have had a problem with that.

You probably should worry about your glass house, Sidewalk.

I do not believe our fans are saints. Think that died years ago. However, we typically have a good baseball crowd. Last night was just plain ugly

How the hell are you comparing Mike Elko to Schloss exits?

They’re not remotely similar scenarios. If you aren’t willing to acknowledge to key differences in how those situations were handled, then there’s not point in discussing it.

It’s disingenuous to suggest they’re similar.

I didn't compare the two, I said the "integrity" narrative doesn't really hold water when your football coach lied to Duke and left in the middle of the night.

Unless Aggies only hold their coaches to this supposed standard when it affects A&M.

What lie? All coaches plan to stay until they make a decision to leave.

It’s not like there was some secret plan hatched months prior.

Our idiot AD offered the job to Mark Stoops first. So hiring Elko was pretty much last minute.

I don't know how it works in College Station but where I'm from, if you say you're staying and then you leave, that's a lie.

When were those comments? The Stoops deal fell through on Saturday 11/25. Elko talks began Sunday 11/26. So you’d need to show your work comparing Elko’s comments to when he was offered the job before calling him a liar.

But thanks for the laughs.

LSU has quite the complicated history with integrity. I can see why it’s confusing for you.

Sidewalk, what are you doing in this conversation anyway? It doesn’t concern you and your terrible team at all

Yeah, I got off topic. No more needs to be said. But I’ll be damned if LSU fan tries to lecture anyone about integrity.

Back to the topic. Was the crowd at the game last night particularly bad?

There is no integrity in college sports, it's odd that some of you believe there is.

Public board, free country, and I'm a neutral observer.

I think you're both ghey and pretentious.

The fans were nasty. Upside down pineapples were funny but screaming obscenities at Schloss, and some of it went over the line. Apparently one holier than thou a-hole on TexAgs is lecturing the fans. It will be worse today. My favorite was putting pictures of Schloss in the urinals so everybody can pee on him

His expression at the pure vitriol and actions like poor me were priceless. The PoS was definitely shook
