Yet y’all keep talking about how LSU beating UGA last year means something this year.
Well, it would make sense that LSU-UGA 2018 would have more bearing on LSU-UGA 2019 than LSU-Troy 2017 now wouldn't it? I mean, you can't be as dumb as you seem, right? Oh, never mind. Just keep being Georgia fans. How many of you were even alive in 1980? Geeze.

1. You’re clearly still reeling over the loss at home to South Carolina’s third string QB
2. Not sure what any of this has to do with LSU/A&M from 2018? Were they a better team than LSU? No. Makes the loss that much worse, much like UGA losing to South Carolina’s third string QB, at home, this season.
So, you do admit that Texas A&M was the better team last year?
You must be a sidewalk fan as I assume actual UGA alums can read.
As I clearly stated, no, they were not better. That means the loss was that much worse because they lost to an inferior team. Much like UGA losing, at home, to South Carolina’s third string QB (this season).

No. Why would it? neither has any bearing to this year.
Don't get me wrong. LSU has a great team, and could easily win the Championship. It's amazing what Orgeron has done and the way he has adapted the team.
But previous year games have absolutely no bearing on this years games.
If i had to pick right now, I would say LSU by 2 TD in the SECCG. But that is not based on last years game with LSU, or the 2017 game LSU had with Troy.

What does losing to Troy in 2017 have anything to do with this LSU team? You realize y’all last to South Carolina’s third string QB, this year?
Yet y’all keep talking about how LSU beating UGA last year means something this year.
The poster I responded to, brought up a game from 2017 in response to a LSU fan mentioning a humiliating UGA loss to SC in 2019.
Neither of those things have anything to do with LSU beating UGA in 2018 by a score of 36-16.

Wait....y'all keep bringing up the SC game like it means we are bad because...well...they beat us. Never mind it could have been because we had a bad game.
Yet, you had a better team than Texas A&M even though they beta you and played Alabama closer than LSU.
There seems to be a double standard going on here.
I read just fine. I have a feeling you have a hard time with cognitive reasoning and will prove it with your next post.

Holy shite. You are dumb.
Many of the same coaches and players from last season are still at both schools. Troy never played UGA, and most of the LSU players from that 2017 team are long gone as is Matt Canada.

LSU losing to an inferior A&M team in 2018=embarrassing loss
UGA losing, at home, to South Carolina’s third string QB in 2019=embarrassing loss
I’m really not sure how this is going over your head.

His point (I have brought this point up before, so it may have been me) is one game does not define how good..or vbad...a team is.
I mean, does anyone really believe Troy was better than LSU, or LSU had a bad team? no. Or they shouldn't.
Same for Georgia. Our team is good. real good. Probably not as good as LSU this year. But for people to think we are not good or will get "trucked" (as many LSU fans keep saying) is mistaken.

IF that were to happen, LSU would be left out. There isn't going to be two SEC teams unless a conference champion propped up by the system implodes down the stretch

Maybe, but why would you say A&M was inferior? they beat LSU and played Alabama closer than LSU.

No doubt there.

How has it gone over my head. How is it that our game with SC does not mean we are a bad team going over your head? I can name you at least 2-3 teams in the past that have had very embarrassing losses then went on to win a NC in the same year.
I am not saying we are going to win the NC this year. Far from it. But we are not a bad team.

I fully expect this to happen, actually.
I mean, it's not like it has never happened before. It happens almost every year.
ETA
I reread what I posted and should clarify. I do NOT expect LSU to be left out. I DO expect there to be more upsets and turmoil.

UGA is most assuredly not a bad team. Their game with Auburn should be a good matchup, because the two teams are mirrors of one another in many ways

I agree. Should be a good game and I think Auburn has a shot at beating us. I think we will win....but I MIGHT be a little biased.
Looking forward to our game with you guys. It will be interesting since we've never seen each other.

You very well could be right. I tend to confuse what people said what when I engage with several posters at a time.
quote:No doubt. We will look back on that game and say, "What if...."
I said the loss was embarrassing for UGA.
If we keep the SECCG close and only lose by a few points...."Could we have made the playoffs as a one loss team if we had been ready with SC?"
That game could haunt us for many, many years.
It gives SC fans some ammunition, too. Can't blame them for it, either.
