I've heard the word "dark horse" or "sleeper" associated with Florida so much in the offseason. Multiple people are picking them to win the East.

With so many "experts" thinking this is the year for Florida, doesn't that make them a favorite? It's not the "sexy pick" everyone is making it out to be.

No knock on Florida and yes- I'm aware. Tennessee Sucks. Butch Sucks. We'll be lucky to win 4.

With how much preseason love Florida is getting they most certainly are not a sleeper/Dark Horse.

Dark horse just means people don't want to actually go on the record and say they will be good. If Florida ends up shitting the bed then all the experts won't look stupid since they only said they were a "dark horse.'
