And it takes high level talent/recruiting to consistently win in the SEC

Thanks, I didn't know that

Arkansas has more depth talent since we've been in the SEC. This is 70's and 80's talent level again.

No wonder Barry Switzer said the only thing that matters it the talent.

You emphasized THIS year not me.

Doesn't matter which they all still count. History is history and Arkansas is a top 25 team all time.

That's great. But who alive has actually seen any championships from the flagship?

Yeah and this isn't the former SEC where half the teams have less history playing each other than Arkansas does vs Ole Miss and LSU.

Or this isn't the SEC which had Florida as a Joke while MSU, Vandy and Kentucky are part of the worst programs of all time.

The SEC is a shell of it's former self just as the SWC isn't around.

I think you should ask your fellow conference members at Ole Miss, MSU Vandy, Kentucky or new member USC how their championship department is looking, ha.

1989 last SWC championship.

The question was about the flagship. Stop deflecting.

Are you even following me?

SEC is laughable in the 70's, 80's compared to now.

Ole Miss was replaced by Arkansas and USC while Florida surged and MSU has had more recent history than ever all time. The conference isn't even remotely the same.

Hey,

Cum guzzler, I answered you question. 1989 is the last SWC so many people alive have seen Arkansas win a championship in football. It's not my fault you are 21.

BCS is relevant and that's on the national stage. Which is better than half of the SEC can say.

The SEC officially claims 4 NCs from the 70's and 80's (including 3 straight from '78-'80), not too bad.

Never said it was bad. Its obvious the conference as a whole is much tougher now than before.

The addition of Arkansas, USC, much better MSU teams and uprising of Florida has made the conference better, period.

When inserting Arkansas alone into the SEC the conference statistics increase. Arkansas fits squarely in the middle of the SEC history.

Saying the SEC was elite in 70's and 80's is stupid the SWC conference then was very tough.

Baylor was a hell of a lot better than Kentucky, MSU, and Vandy and won the SWC 5 times, TCU wont the conference 9 times, Not to mention they had to play Arkansas, Texas A&M and Texas.

The SEC being so tough and the big boy league is well stupid. It's not even remotely the same conference as the 80's.

It seems as if it has been pretty tough for Arkansas as they have yet to win an SEC Championship

Sure, this evening after my BBQ, West Coast Time, I'll be happy to reference my post history and show how Arkansas sits in the top half of the SEC in championships, all-time wins, top 25 pre-season polls, top 25 post season polls, etc.. That was discussed on here not even a week ago. Arkansas makes the SEC looks better all time, that's a fact.

If it's been tough for Arkansas imagine how tough it's been for USC, MSU, Ole Miss, Vandy and Kentucky with 0, 0 history to brag about. *minus Ole Miss in history*

Arkansas had to get our crap together we have the history, fan base and has resurrected our recruiting bases into Memphis, North Louisiana and Texas.

Arkansas held it'self back and that has now been corrected. Ole Miss, who used to be part pride of the SEC hasn't done jack and they've never moved conferences.

As for a championship, yes we will.

As for business already accomplished. 80,000 sq ft. new locker room and offices, 2,500 new Alumni added, $6.5 Million raised in 1 year, 3rd highest paid coach in the SEC. Top 17 revenue producing football program in the country.

Our football camps are 25% bigger than years past, Our offer lists include teams with national championships under their belt in the BCS era, the state of Arkansas is producing more talent than before, as stated old recruiting grounds are opening back up that haven't been used in 20 years.

It's almost like Bobby Petrino is using the old Frank Broyles business model and updating it to modern standards. Our AD should be doing backflips. Our odds have increased towards winning the SEC because all that is listed above.

Waiting list for skyboxes a mile long. The state is unified again.

So losing that game is the accomplishment?

That's great. But who alive has actually seen any championships from the flagship?

That was your question the answer is listed above for the 3rd time. Making a BCS game for any team is an accomplishment win or lose. The only next step above that is the national title.

I'd expect cocksmokes like you to understand direct answers and follow along, I'm sorry I was wrong.

Again, you dumb frick, I asked when the flagship won something on the national stage.
