Oh please, you have to be kidding. It was all over the place last year. "This is our year." "We'll win the West." "Mallet for Heisman."
But time proved you guys are way over your head in the SEC...y'all did fine in swc, but this is big boy football.

No, I'm pretty sure the amount of ridiculous threads from Arkansas fans last summer was on par with this summer. Nevermind it was even less warranted a year ago.

Ok, point me to those "We will win the west" posts from last season. I'll be here waiting when you find nothing.
You'll find no predictions over 10-2. Trust me, we've been through this many a time.

dude you've grown used to us being coached by Motho (moron of the highest order) and his staff of the Murray St. Mafia.
Three years of repair work and developing talent has brought us back from the scorched earth policies of pick up games in the Hyper, texting before bowl games, and 'all you slaps in the Media' of the previous staff.
We are not that team anymore. Never aqain will our star RB have to call out the offensive playcalling on live TV. Never again will we have to play a receiver with a partially healed broken leg just so we can complete a pass. Never again we will play 4 QBs in one game.
Those days are over my Gump friend and you are right to fear what is coming. Hog Nation Kung fu is strong under sifu Petrino

I do not recall anyone calling for an 11 win season, much less winning the West a year ago.
Hell, I said 8-4 to 9-3.
If you can find anyone not named HawgAlude calling for a West championship, I will kiss your arse.

I'm not saying that Arkansas won't have success under Petrino. They obviously will. I just don't think they'll break through to Atlanta in 2011. 2012 seems more likely.

We lose quite a bit after this year. Don't see us being great in 2012.
We'll only return 12 starters in '12.

I'm think 2012 for Arkansas because Alabama loses so much after this season. You'll have LSU in Little Rock and Alabama in Fayetteville. Auburn is still a wildcard. Who knows what happens with the NCAA stuff. They'll be talented though.

Defensive line will be sick good though.
Wilson will of course win his 2nd Heisman in 12' as well.
Kniles Davis' will win the Doak Walker award for the 2nd straight year as well.
I mean, we are just great and the almighty. 8-4 at worst

2010 BCS team
-return most of the D that has improved each season since 2008.
-return 4 highly productive WR's
-return SEC's leading rusher
-Have the second best special teams in the league behind Georgia
-Have the motivation coming off of close losses to OSU, Auburn, and Bama from last season.
-It's our time
You are missing more than you got back IMO.
All LSU fans will tell you it starts and ends with the Qb position.
I think Davis will help ease the pain, but one slip, injury, etc. it will be a long season. Depth will be your problem. With some luck you guys might win the west.

You are better than your Hog football teams since joining the SEC. How many SEC championships has Arky won in football?
