Should Bama be punished for being in a good conference?

Bama isn’t being punished for being in the SEC.

Bama will be left out because of a 3 loss record and 2 of those losses being to teams they were favored against and in the end, being very bad losses. OU being the absolute worst loss.

At the time, Vandy had just lost to Georgia State, then beat Alabama.

SMU beat ranked teams, they can’t control what happens with those teams after they beat them. It’s not as if they have a plethora of wins over the Mountain West Conference.

If Alabama fans want to argue, your argument is with a Boise State being in the playoff while you’re not. Attempting to make a case against an 11-2 P4 program isn’t the way.
