way to tell people the answer to a subjective question

There's nothing special about Ole Miss's stadium. It may be new, but it's pretty ugly looking in the way they set up the seating.
What is so "special" about the new box? I think our seating looks weird because the put the concessions inside the stadium instead of underneath so you can actually watch the game while waiting on a drink. The new club seating will be really nice too. The brick and the red roof are set up to match the rest of the campus.

The architecture is very unique imo. Every other SEC team has standard unoriginal brick around their campus.
I like the character of the Italian architecture.

If I had a dollar for every time someone around here said this.........

Well it's pretty unique. Do you know of any other SEC campus that has this. Why the hate?

+1
its why LSU was my favorite campus along with the giant oaks. All of other sec campuses look the same to me.

Ole miss may have the same style as others, but it is damn nice.

ARKY fans, those polls were all done before Sc and LSU's new parks were finished. LSU also is better than Arky when it comes to atmosphere. Ask UC irvine.

Arky has had the best in the SEC

I mean Baum is nice, but it seems like it gets its good rep on size alone. I think USC, LSU, and Ole Miss' look better.

Way to leave out the part that they left off LSU and SC's stadiums because they were building new ones.

This has now been said 4 times yet of the 3 links I provided, TWO listed the "NEW" Box.
To the gentleman above that was crying over me quoting his love for architecture, it was a joke. How do you not get that? It's not often that Italian Architecture is mentioned in a sports forum, hence the punchline.
Jesus.

quote:i would definitely agree with this list. these 7 stadiums are incredible and all have something special. i put the new box on top because it will still lead the nation in attendance, will have the best atmosphere and has the most unique architecture. the others, while incredible facilities are more homogenous in look.
1. New Alex Box Stadium - LSU
2. Carolina Stadium - South Carolina
3. Baum Stadium - Arkansas
4. Plainsman Park- Auburn
5. Hawkins Field - Vanderbilt
6. Dudy Noble Field - Mississippi State
7. Oxford/U Stadium - Ole Miss

First off, the new box wasn't even finished yet and second, can a gentleman not say something he likes about the appearence of a ballpark on a sports forum?

um STFU u arky idiot the if you read carefully and slowly (since youre from Ark and all) it says on the rivals that carolina and LSU are omitted due to construction of new stadiums, thus no valid arguement there for being better than The new box. The other site had the box as #2 the old box, because if you read the caption it says "new stadium coming soon, YIPPIE!", and mind you at number 2 with plenty good to say that is still the OLD box a-hole. And finally the southernfried pigskin was the only one that acknowledged Arky as higher than the new box. So one out of three links actually backs your claim so nice try but, FAIL

I know there are Fancier Stadiums but to me Dudy Noble Field in Left Field Lounge on a beautiful day with the Grills fired up and the smell of BBQ smoke in the air and cowbells ringing and 10,000 people cheering for the Dogs is as close to heaven as it gets..

for the Arky fan who posted the stadium rankings:
and from the photos, South Carolina's stadium looks incredible on the inside.
