What the playoff would have looked had teams been ranked correctly.

I threw out all the stupid rules and ranked the teams by who actually should have been in the top 12.

1. Indiana (CC)
2. Georgia (CC)
3. Ohio State
4. Texas Tech (CC)
5. Oregon
6. Ole Miss
7. Texas A&M
8. Oklahoma
9. Miami
10. Notre Dame
11. Alabama
12. Texas

First Round:
#12 Texas @ #5 Oregon
#9 Miami @ #8 Oklahoma
#11 Alabama @ #6 Ole Miss
#10 Notre Dame @ #7 Texas A&M

Second Round:
#5 Oregon vs #4 Texas Tech
#9 Miami vs #1 Indiana
#6 Ole Miss vs #3 Ohio State
#10 Notre Dame vs #2 Georgia

Third Round:
#5 Oregon vs #1 Indiana
#3 Ohio State vs #2 Georgia

National Championship:
#1 Indiana vs #2 Georgia (winner)

Regardless of whether you agree with the outcomes, anyone with common sense can see this would have made for a far more entertaining playoff than what we’re watching now.
