I can't with any certainty say we'll win.
I do think I would rather be playing at the same level all season and be winning than to have played great early and be declining and losing.

We may not win the game but we have certainly won the argument. No one has answered any of the questions about your offenses decline and you are the only one left here to argue.

So since we think it will come down to defenses here are some current defensive stats via NCAA.com

Rushing Defense LSU 55th (Auburn has problems stopping the run)
Auburn ranked 99th

Passing Defense Auburn 30th
LSU 35th (Pretty equal)

Scoring Defense LSU 7th
Auburn 76th

Passes Intercepted is dead even

Turnovers Auburn has the edge

Sacks poor LSU.. JJ is gonna get a concussion :P

3rd Down conversions (Auburn leads)

But this one kills AUBURN RED ZONE DEFENSE (we suck bad) 109th

ummm, have you seend LSU red zone offense . the only stat that matters on defnse imo is scoring defense. LSU isn't giving up a whole lot of points this year.

How did that off week go last year?

what does this year have to do with last year? i don't even rememer who LSU played after the off week...

fricking North Texas. Which has absolutely nothing to do with this thread. Aub2009 is clueless, first he thought LSU played Miami last year, dumbass. Then he must think LSU had an open weekend before the Auburn game, dumbass again. And, I'm not sure, but from his post does he think Auburn won against LSU last year?

HBT, Miles has played tight all year due to having a young QB and poor offensive line play. Auburn is not supposed to win and is playing on the road. They have nothing to lose in this game.

Well I think it will be equally matched.. both team definately has problems... It will come down who can minimize turnovers and penalties... Thus that team wins..

And this right here is why LSU wins on Saturday. They will run on AU's defense, eat up the clock and wear out AU's thin defense to win it in the 4th qtr.

LSU 21
AU 13

if they can do this, it will get nasty imo. i think jj might have to make some plays with his arm. hell auburn's defense made crompton look like peyton manning a few weeks ago, and tennesse doesn't have the wr's that LSU does.

Btw stupid dumb arse bammer the game before North Texas was Troy and that was postponed to Gustav.. Go find another attempt to troll DUMB ARSE. Typical Bammers thinking they know all.

to be honest that doesn't help your case at all. comparing auburn this year to florida last year isn't even close. plus LSU didn't have a dc this time last year.

The team that can run the ball and drain the clock will win. AU's offensive scheme leaves your thin D on the field too long and it's taking its toll in the 2nd half of the season. LSU has depth on both sides of the ball and they will be able to run on AU.
