That's funny, the only thing beside bas stereotypes I know about Ole Miss is the Grove, and underneath those nicely dressed sorority girls is a slut waiting to get out.
Slut waiting to get out and girls who like it in the bottom are good things.

Wasn't Johnny Cash arrested on campus at Mississippi State? Or was it just in Starkville. Wrote a song about it I believe.

Tebow was crying after the loss to LSU in 2007, Ole Miss didn't beat UF with Tebow until the following season.
Face it, Tebow lost, Tebow cried.

Arkansas is a better school than Ole Miss. Of course that isn't saying much.
How so? Aside from Wal Marks dollars what does Arkansas have that Ole Miss doesn't?

We're more selective.
We are Tier 1.
We are Carnegie RU/VH.
We have a top 25-30 public business school and a highly regarded school of architecture.
We have about double the endowment.

There are plenty of people in Mississippi who cheer for the Rebels or the BuLlDaWgZ who never attended either school, but most non-alumni in Mississippi mostly cheer for LSU and Bama.
I call bullshite on this. You're just trying to pawn off your redneck fan over population on other schools. But, it it were true(which it isn't) at least these "non-alumni" are smart enough to pull for winners.

According to USNews, Ole Miss is "selective" as well. Furthermore, our selection standards aren't under our control. Mississippi's state government (and all of its infinite wisdom) has control over it. There has even been a state supreme court case over Ole Miss and State trying to dictate their own standards.

So is Ole Miss.

We are Carnegie RU/VH.
Ole Miss is a Carnegie Doctoral/Research University-Extensive

We have a top 25 pharmacy program (one of the best in the South), a top international studies program (listed by the State department as #2 in terms of job placement), a top honors program (listed as one of the three best public honors programs), and an accountancy school that has a nearly 100% job placement rate.
We also boast a Nobel Prize winner and 25 Rhodes Scholars amongst our alumni.
Like I said earlier in the thread, middle-sized state schools can easily pick nits with what they have, because none of them are elite in every area. You can say "we have a highly rated so-and-so" to which we could counter with "oh yeah, well we have such-and-such." LSU, State, Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee... they could all do the same.

I said aside from Wal Marks money, remember.

Whatever dude, I grew up in Mississippi. Trust me.
It's not as if Ole Miss and State don't have sidewalk fans, but there are a shite load of LSU and Bama fans in Mississippi, most of which attended neither school.

No, you're "selective". That's a category below "more selective".
You are not Tier 1. Miss and Miss St are the only two SEC schools that are not.
Your Carnegie ranking is one tier below ours in their ranking system.
According to US News:
BUSINESS (including private Us)
Ark - 51
Miss - 102
LAW
Ark - 84
Miss - 107
ENG
Ark - 107
Miss - 138
MED
Ark - 58
Miss - Unranked
Arkansas is a better school than U-Miss in pretty much every category. Like I said, not much to brag on, but its true.
