I was referring to the mannings being better qbs than what bama has to offer, but don't mind the quoted section.

We were, once again, named a top-10 party school.

The fact that we have earned the reputation of a party school despite the bars closing early is something worth mentioning.

Larger student body. Same number of victories in last five years. Winning record in last 20 head to heads. Winners of last two. Top 15 in two of the big three last year. I don't know what you're talking about.

Exactly my point.

I know people like to throw around the Mississippi redneck generalization, but most in Mississippi who never attended a college are actually Bama or LSU fans.

This is very true.

There are plenty of people in Mississippi who cheer for the Rebels or the BuLlDaWgZ who never attended either school, but most non-alumni in Mississippi mostly cheer for LSU and Bama.

I would like to know more about this cheese. High quality?

Is it for sale and if yes, link?

It seems like Ole Miss has just accepted the fact that Mississippi State is superior on the football field anyways...

Seriously, some of y'all have the shortest fricking memories.

We beat State 45-0 just a couple of seasons ago. Yet some of y'all pretend like what's going on in Mississippi is the next VA Tech/UVA or OU/Okie State. It's not.

Neither program in Mississippi can sustain success for very long periods of time so, yes, Mississippi State will, in the not so distant future, lose to Ole Miss in football and vice versa.

In the "modern era" of the Egg Bowl, the game is damned near an even split because of this.

Gotcha. Yeah. Both are certainly better QBs from a talent standpoint than what Bama has had at times. But I would much rather have a QB who wins 80% or more of his games than one who wins 67% or less of his games. That's just me.

Also, I think Bart Starr & Joe Namath probably would be viewed in a higher light than Archie Manning. Both were winners at the next level too. As for Eli, well, we have no one recently that I would say is better than he is.

Best you'll ever get in Arkansas.

MSU Cheese

Edam is the most popular. I like the cheddar.

So a couple of state posters have mentioned sports so far, that's cool.

My point is that we both generally suck at sports, so all that bullshite than Coonass said would make fans of most other schools laugh.

So what I'm getting at is what does state have to fall back on, because you can't act like you're some football power now after last year.
