What's crazy to me is that if LSU somehow loses to Arkansas the day after Thanksgiving, then they probably aren't even going to make a bCS bowl. That's a fricking shame after the season you guys have had. I know its a big if, but damn, there shouldn't even be a possibility of LSU not playing in a BCS game and they'll be in the CapOne if we somehow luck into a win. BCS needs new rules

Not so fast my friend... Bama and LSU might flip in the BCS, but I seriously doubt that LSU drops below Arky (unless it's a blowout). If that is the case, LSU still goes to the SECCG. If they then lose to UGA, then they don't deserve a BCS bowl.

At least a 3 point OT loss to a team who you outgained has some room for debate, but a 24 point loss slams the door shut on any question.

if it did...there would be no discussion

The only one putting ARK in the discussion is Ark fans.

If there is the three way tie it is a conundrum for the voters. Especially if by some miracle ARK won over LSU convincingly. In the three way tie scenerio a voter has to decide which team he is going to vote ahead of a team that it lost to. It's hard to imagine any voter putting ARK ahead of BAMA in that equation. BAMA over LSU is the much more logical choice.

Oregon does not have to lose for Ark to get in. Ok State does.
Dont know why you left them out. they are undefeated.

I assumed that the winner of Bedlam is in. Arky just needs to be #2.

FoxMulder I dont think you followed it very well.

In the event of the 1 loss teams, three way tie scenerio the voters HAVE to vote one team ahead of another team that it lost to. That's the laws of the mathematics involved. If the LSU/ARK game is a close win by ARK then BAMA over LSU would be the more logical team to put ahead of a team it lost to since it was a 3 point OT loss versus a 24 point blow out.
