Hey man I live in Texas with a lot of die hard cowboys fans and this is what all of them are saying. That Saban is the first coach the cowboys are going to go after.

i hope this helps..

I wonder how many SEC fans will sploodge all over their drawers when Saban leaves Bama. Regardless of if it's 2 years or 10 years from now.
I don't know about that, but I can't wait to spend 4 years telling you that your new coach is an idiot who's only winning because of Saban's players and he will soon run the program into the ground.

Thanks for the honest answer. I'm just curious b/c its never an offseason topic for Jimmy Sexton. Just my opinion...no sour grapes

I wouldn't be suprised if Saban gives the NFL another shot especially if he wins the NC this year. I always thought he left Miami and not so much the NFL. He coached in the NFL before he took the Miami job and knew what the NFL was all about. I'm not so sure Saban would want to work for a control freak like Jerry Jones though

Hopefully we won't hire and idiot like LSU did.

You might want to have a talk with about half of your own fanbase.

He loves the challenge and money and Jerry will be able to give him both. Jerry will step out of the way and let Saban coach. Nick has never stayed anywhere more than 5 years.

My question is how much will Notre Dame have to through ole nicky's way to get him and Jimmy Sexton on a private jet for Indiana?

Saban will not leave Alabama at this point. There was one time when he may have left Alabama and that is if Miles would have gone to Michigan. I think he may have left us for LSU at that time but I think he is ours at this point.

we're 5-1 and ranked in the top 10, what's there to be miserable about? i just believe in turnabout being fair play.

If it came down to it we could probably double his salary.
Notre Dame probably knows this, and will not try to lure him away with dollar signs,
Unless they want to pay a mammoth sum of money to someone who is only arguably the best coach in the land on top of all the other former coaches they are still paying.
Noone is going to get into a bidding war with another big time school.

this is a really dumb topic btw

He is not going to leave a SEC Powerhouse to go to a school that is hanstrung by higher academic requirements. Not for any amount of money.
He left LSU to pursue his dream of being an NFL coach. It did not work. He will not get another shot with the way he left Miami.
I am not happy he went to Bama, but that is just life.
He is not leaving and he will probably be there for the next 20 years. Get used to it.
