I hated that crap when those pics went around.
I hope she falls helplessly in love with that Techie only to have him introduce her to the concept of a "swirlie" (and I'm not talking about one involving a toilet) and run away giggling to post pics of it.

I was explaining the difference between Tech and Georgia.
You don't pull for Tech out of convenience, that's my point.
I've been as honest as is possible about my affiliations and reasons. Can't exactly fault me for choosing Georgia Tech over any school.
God forbid I talk more about Auburn in the SECrant than Tech.

FIFY.

It's Friday, Friday, Friday... That means TRIVIA TIME
How many US Presidents graduated from Tech and how many from UGA?
(whether they were good at it is not the question, ahem)

None. From both. Carter was a Naval Academy grad who took classes at Tech.
But he had to be invited to join Gridiron at UGA in order to be the Guv first. Then he ran for Prez.

That Carter had to take remedial classes at Tech so he could get in at the Naval Academy?
Ooooo. Burn.
Got me there.
Guess which school's connections put him in the GA Governer's Mansion and ultimately the White House?
As Bill MusCramp would say.....BOOM!

There's no way on God's green earth Stephon Marbury or Reggie Ball were taking upper level engineering.

ETA: I know it's a Wiki link, but this is as close as you'll get to a partial member list, and fairly accurate.
Fairly.

Let's put it this way- at UGA, my sister took a 1-hour a week bowling class to fill the state's physical education requirement.
I had to take a 2-hour class that was more like a 4-hour class, remembering obscure statistics and being hounded for alcohol abuse.
My aerospace engineer friend blew his 4.0 on his last semester in this class.
It's okay, he's still making something ridiculous like $96k at ExxonMobile in his first year out of college.

No doubt, but we're talking the 1940s before major scholarship athletics.
