I commend you for not acting like you went to Auburn.
But it's still lame to be an Aubun fan when you went to a BCS school. It's not like you went to Emory. I bet if Tech were worth a shite, you'd be a Tech fan.

its a helluva a degree but i'd absolutely hate it. i mean to each their own I just don't like atlanta except for the braves and falcons and i still wish they'd move them out of the city. if i went to tech though I'd make it damn obvious i thought incredibly low of their athletics and would maintain UGA garb. but my grandpa would still turn in his grave.
on a related note i know quite a few techies who actually got into the trade school but liked what all UGA had to offer in addition to a degree. i have always heard it is so much more about where your grad degree is anyway so why not have a fun 4 years with a quality education and then subject yourself to georgia tech's bull shittery for only a brief 2 year stint where you have gotten most of the partying/winning out of ya

Oh my God, you see right through me.
Given the fact that Tech and Auburn last played eachother before I attended Tech hasn't exactly made it difficult to openly pull for both.
Call me douchey, it works. I love them both. I hope they never play eachother again.

I know plenty of "sidewalk" fans. They pick up their trash after the game. I know plenty of Tech fans that didn't go to Tech. It's got to be a rough life to choose to pull for the Gnats and not feel obligated.

Count my dad among those, I'll always have a soft spot for Tech because he went there, but I could NEVER go there.
I actually have a pretty good time when I visit friends there though because there's no girls so we all just get blackout drunk every time haha

I've been the same fan all the way through. Got made fun of constantly in 2008 while Auburn pieced together a spectacular 5-7 season and Tech had one of its better years.
I get more shite from my GT friends than yall have given me, FWIW.
