Unrelated story:
I’ll never forget him telling the story of when his Carolina gamecock team came for a game against LSU. He said that during the entire pre game everyone on the LSU staff was incredibly nice to him and then shortly before kickoff he knew that LSU was about to kick their arse because otherwise why would they be nice to him... lol

I think it was the 2015 season, might be the 2012 season. But I was at the 2015 game and LSU did go out of their way before the game to be nice to him. I think that game ended up being a route. But no matter what, spurrier is always going to be an all time great to me.
