I hadn’t heard that at all, so it may have been less well known than you assume. Just like you can’t fault Kiffin for wanting a new job, you can’t fault the OM AD for trying to protect his institution. If it’s just business, that has to go both ways. Now, I have no clue how the admin would’ve responded if LK told them a couple of weeks ago that he was seriously pursuing the move to LSU; Not an I have some things to consider conversation, but an I intend to go at season’s end.
