Only in the SEC is this kind of ridiculousness still possible. Following this shite is as good as watching the games.

Absolutely agree.

Is this Auburn's Whitewater?

Other prominent figures who were large shareholders at Colonial were former Auburn coach Pat Dye, former Frazier United Methodist Church pastor John Ed Mathison and Sam Sippial, who replaced Lowder as chairman in June.

Obama cares about college football.
LINK
quote:

President Barack Obama, before he was sworn in, had stated his preference for a playoff system. In 2008, Obama said he was going to "to throw my weight around a little bit" to nudge college football toward a playoff system, a point that Hatch stressed when he urged Obama last fall to ask the department to investigate the BCS.

New conspiracy theory:
Obama is investigating Auburn so he can blow up the BCS and replace it with a playoff.

Here is where it is going to get REAL. McGregor is the Gambling Industry. If McGregor is the money man, this takes the Pay-For-Play to a whole different Level. Bring in various Auburn Athletic Foundations and Charities, and Auburn Athletics ceases to exist, NOT by NCAA sanctions, but by SACS and FBI edicts.

Tom Cruise, Holly Hunter, and Jeanne Tripplehorn bring down the Alabama Political Corruption Machine.

Lets see, 200k, conspiracy, Biggest lobby firm in the state, public officials, wire fraud, bribery, baking violations, organized crime, (alleged), gambling, corruption, witness intimidation, and all within another investigation with pending indictments.

No the FBi would never be get involved with this (LOL).

All that is missing is a few murders, but they usually leave that to the states anyway as murder is not a federal crime, conspiracy to committ is. God only knows what is on all those tapes. But when NCAA story broke they obviously connected the dots there.

Cam Newton is simply collateral damage just like Auburn football.

Just got some interesting scoop from an MSU buddy with connections. He added a new detail I have yet to hear. He said that the deal with Cecil and Auburn reps went down in Casino chips. He had no knowledge of the Tuskegee article. Interesting...
Posted this in the other thread, but it fits here better.

I just thought the AU coaches were corrupt recruiters. This is way bigger than I thought. I hope the coaches get a lifetime ban from coaching at any college.

Given Pat Dye's History with Ramsey and others, how is he even allowed to continue to associate with AU Athletics? Also, how in the frick is he not laughed and harassed off the radio when he goes on FineTurd's program?

Is everyone in Ala. just numb to improprieties?

Did anyone else catch Kenny Rodgers saying he knew nothing about Auburn and Cam Newton. But he had helped Auburn with a few players in the past. As soon as he said it I wondered why is he saying that, why would his attorney advise him to disclose that? the logical answer is that the FBI matter is more than Newton andthat Rodgers was being careful to be completely upfront in the interview to protect himself and his future testimony to FBI.
