Using the FEI ELS metric.

Strength of schedule ratings represent the number of losses a team two standard deviations above average would expect to have against the schedule of opponents.

Listed in order by overall rank, expected losses to the right.

#1 Arkansas - 1.41
#4 Texas - 0.93
#5 Miss St - 0.90
#8 Kentucky - 0.88
#10 Oklahoma - 0.84
#11 USC - 0.83
#12 Vandy - 0.82
#29 Tennessee - 0.52
#31 Auburn - 0.49
#32 Ole Miss - 0.48
#34 Florida - 0.47
#35 Alabama - 0.46
#40 Texas A&M - 0.40
#42 LSU - 0.39
#56 Missouri - 0.29
#71 Georgia - 0.22

OOC notables:

#25 Ohio St - 0.63
#41 Oregon - 0.40
#79 Notre Dame - 0.19
#90 BYU - 0.15
#91 Indiana - 0.15
#101 Miami - 0.12
#104 Utah - 0.11
#109 Texas Tech - 0.08

As usual, SEC schedules are much stronger. The only 2 teams with stronger schedules both have a loss.

LSU said Bama has played nobody. List must be wrong because LSU is below Alabama? Just awful.

The he big problem with sos rankings is they have it too much and eight on the bottom of the schedule. A ton 10 team is going to beat the 50th ranked team 98% of the time and the 150th ranked team 99% of the time. The formulas view the difference as meaningful. It’s not. Both are gimme wins and should have little impact on rankings.

Usually you’re a little bitch in your post but this is a good one.

ND, BYU and Indy have no shot at the NC and shouldn’t even be considered a top team up to this point.
