Not really. Auburn would likely still get into the Sugar Bowl over a 10-2 A&M.

The highest rated ESPNU game was A&M-SMU

The highest rated CBS games (in over 20 years) were A&M-Alabama and A&M-Auburn.

That last one is completely false (LINK and I can't find citations for the other three. Source?

Outright lying isn't going to make a convincing case.
