It won't be long for Serrano turning that team around. He is a top 5 coach in the SEC IMO.

Umm I'm very serious. You obviously don't know who Dave Serrano is. Coming from someone who was asking what it takes to host a regional, tells me you don't know who he is.

Hell the way we play in basketball we make it look like we play the hardest schedule.

My offer still stands. You have fun with intended and I'll go with actual. Let me know. Call me...maybe.

Serrano is definitely a good coach -- but time will tell if he can build a non-traditional powerhouse instead of simply stepping in and maintaining. Literally everyone wins at Cal State Fullerton and UC Irvine. He did not do it at any significantly greater pace than the guys before or after him, which doesn't necessarily mean much(because he won at the highest level), but it's simply hard to judge...

Tennessee Non conference baseball SOS will be better than Miss State's. To bet or not to bet?
I'll be waiting.

MSU finishes with superior RPI AND SOS to Tennessee.

UC Irvine was a "traditional" powerhouse before Serrano got there? I've heard it all folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think they had just reinstated their baseball program in 2003.

Who cares about SOS, all I care about is Wins and RPI.

Reading comprehension isn't your forte. The OP was about weak non-conference scheduling which Miss State is apparently an expert at in all sports. I want to bet you on what the genesis of what the thread is about. Now, you want to include RPI which is different than SOS AND include conference games which wasn't even part of the OP. Let me know how much you want to do on my bet offer. Thanks in advance, PUTZ.

Make that 4 times. Have you met our friend Darkhorse? I'm sure you two would get along just fine.

Since conference expansion, Tennessee has been to the same number of CWS and has more SEC baseball titles than Miss State.

Everyone that has been there since it was reinstated has won big. The new guy is also winning at a much higher clip than Serrano did.

Somebody is getting mad and is scared to put her non conference SOS vs. Tennessee non-conference SOS. I wonder why?

After reinstating baseball:
2002-2004 John Savage 3 88-84-1 .512
Is this winning BIG?
Serrano takes over and goes to school's first CWS:
2005-2007 Dave Serrano 3 114-66-1 .633

Miss State appears to be playing 19 straight home games to open the season against Portland, Grambling, Purdue, Samford, Rhode Island, St. Joes, MVSU, Central Arkansas and 1 game vs. USM. That's absurd.
We'll make up for it in league play, because we don't get to play the pansies like TN, Mizzou, and Georgia who are a combined 5-17 right now. I'm pretty sure those will be the league's bottom three. We won't get to enjoy any of those easy 'sweep' opportunities that the other SEC teams will be looking forward to.

Yet, I showed you where we SCHEDULED tougher than you did.

Exactly. Yet, I showed you that we SCHEDULED tougher than you in the OOC as well.
You keep wanting to look at scheduling in HINDSIGHT -- which is a completely ILLOGICAL process, since it can only be set up based on how good teams are EXPECTED to be. I've shown that conclusively already. Hence why we SCHEDULED tougher than you. Whether or not we end up with a greater noncon SOS is immaterial to SCHEDULING, which your OP was based upon.
But you are obviously too stupid to know the difference between the two.
