I guess but even back then LSU never really played Georgia, Tennessee, and Auburn

As I understand it, Kentucky football integrated in 1967, Tennessee in 1968, and Auburn, Florida, Mississippi State and Vandy in 1970.

AU and GT played info the late 80s. Im pretty sure the last one was the 87 game where Burger hit Tillman on 4th to win.
GT was always a big rival to Pat Dye even though it was one sided in the end.
Dye hated GT and loved to brag he was 11-0 against GT as a player and a coach because when he signed with UGA as a player the coach that was recruiting him for GT told him to go ahead and go to Athens and they would beat his arse the whole time he was there.

That’s probably another reason Dye loved beat Curry when he was the coach at Alabama
