agreed. I really hope he conforms and leaves the drug induced, crime riddled thug life behind him. He could make an excellent motivational speaker on the elementary school circuit one day. Sometimes a dark past can bring out the best in people.

Addict?! You're an idiot. He likes to smoke pot. He's not a fricking addict, moron.

ETA: He would never have been a top 5 pick no matter the circumstances. Yo need to go lay back down and try again today.

Still addicted. You'd think being faced with the possibility of being kicked off the team he would've stopped for a year or two.

I like the guy and I have nothing against weed. I'm just saying there are also mental addictions, and this guy clearly has one to smoking pot (At least had one. He seems to have cleaned up nicely, if even only momentarily, in time for the draft. I hope he can stay out of trouble, because I love watching him play).

No not an addiction. He has maturity issues and lacks self control. Weed is not the fricking problem. The problem is that he is dumb. Pretty simple. Dumb motherfricker=TM7

No shite Sherlock. I think we all agree failing 10+ drug tests is dumb.

Yeah well that was in response to him being labeled an addict. Reading your posts, I think we agree on this. It's the other morons in here...

If you're saying he's not an addict, but a dumbass, we 100% agree.

He thought he was gonna get away with failing drug tests because of his status.

Nope.

If you are addicted, you're addicted. I don't know why people try to distinguish between physical and mental. You either can stop or you can't.

No, Lawrence Taylor was taken 2nd overall in 1981.

Because there is a difference. Physically dependent addictions have actual side effects from quitting. Mental addictions don't.

Newsflash...lots of addicts are dumb MFers. Do you even know the definition of addiction? How about "compulsive need for and use of a habit-forming substance." He sure as hell had that.

Here's a question for you...why the hell would he check into rehab if he wasn't addicted?

Smoking weed is far from being a crime riddled thug. Drug induced thug at that. You are an idiot.
Do you drink anything alcoholic? Id rather meet somebody that has smoked weed on our highways than somebody that has had to much to drink. ANYDAY. Oh you are not flaming, so you just must be a dimwit.

This^

The dude got busted, was told to stop, he didnt. He got busted again, was suspended and told he would be kicked off if he didn't stop, he didn't stop. Got caught again, got kicked off, went to rehab, he didn't stop... The dude was an addict. He tried to stop, but he couldn't, he needed some weed.
