Not enough defense for LSU. Crusty frickers gave up 38 points to old Vandy and 400 rushing yards to Ole Miss. In defense of LSU"s defense, Matt Luke really had his squad ready to play. An Ole MIss baseball player had 200 rushing yards on that day.

Meh.
Acknowledging trophies awarded outside of Coaches and Sportswriters (and maybe Rose Bowl trophies) pre-playoff is lame.
And for the record, I don't have a problem with LSU and USC both having 2003 titles. It used to happen fairly often pre-BCS anyway.
