University Of Tennessee Condoned Football Rape Culture, Lawsuit Alleges
Major Title IX Lawsuit Says University of Tennessee Is “Indifferent” to Athletes’ Alleged Rapes

In a federal lawsuit filed Tuesday, six women accuse the University of Tennessee of enabling and covering up sexual assaults committed by campus athletes, “fostering a hostile sexual environment,” and discriminating against alleged rape survivors through a biased adjudication system unique to Tennessee’s public university system
When the Feds have to come to UGA because our entire University is covering up rapes and sexual assaults, maybe you can talk.

How many decades ago was that?

it wasn't 28. And several of those were subsequently kicked off the team. When was Omari Thomas disciplined? Don't point fingers, bud, until your own team stops covering up rapes, sexual assaults and regular assaults.
It was 25 and you added three this summer. I know education in in GA is suspect but that’s still 28

The amended complaint alleged that "text messages show that on occasion supervisors and coaches, in effect, encouraged recruiting staff to drink alcohol with football prospects' families-well aware that staffers would leave the events after consuming alcohol." "Association coaches and staff regularly drank alcohol at UGA football Coach Kirby Smart's residence during recruiting events, and then, in Association SUVs, returned recruits' families and guests back to their lodging," the complaint said. "The Association and UGA coaches were well aware that involved alcohol, in Association SUVs."

The University of Georgia Athletic Association (UGA) (UGA) has sent a letter to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) demanding a retraction of an article that detailed allegations of the football program's mishandling of sexual assault claims. The AJC has issued corrections to the article but has refused to retract it. The article, written by Alan Judd, alleged that the program allowed players accused of sexual assault to remain on the team and that certain relationships were used to make charges disappear. The AJC fired Judd for violating journalistic standards. The AJC's investigation into the University of Georgia football program sparked controversy, with UGA demanding a retraction of the article and issuing a nine-page letter outlining errors and unsubstantiated allegations.

I've never claimed that. And the cops typically will contact parents of a minor. Word ypically filters dow to the university and coaches, but the team travels
You don’t believe ACCPD does not have a phone number to call to let coaches know about this stuff? Interesting. Unrealistic but interesting. How about while he was awaiting trial and the second allegation was made and UGA AD allowed him to use facilities and arranged for him to do workouts at a local high school after pushback about him being part of UGAs proday. By the way I know he was convicted and lost his appeal, is he still in jail?
You really want to put shoving a fan up with UGAs crime spree?

hope the irony isn’t lost on you. You would literally accept anything a UGA player or staffer or commit does regardless of who is affected.

The one UGA WR to see a little success, and he graduated, wasn’t arrested, good for him.
But UGA did fix its graduation issue right? I mean they don’t care about the massive arrest issue obviously, but they did fix the graduation problem.

Will you ever answer the question? What happened to Hyatt and Tillman?

So you made a post about your own problems just to take a shot at another program your "genius" coach can't figure out how to beat.
What other program was mentioned?
Just because your "championship teams" are all a bunch of non-graduating, thug pieces of shite, you don't have to get so defensive.
Your players have one salvation. They are not as big of pieces of shite and scumbags as their fan base.
Have a nice day.,

What difference does it make? I mean, it's not like some of the incidents you keep bringing up are happening this year. Some are 4 or 5 years ago.
Is there an expiration date on poor behavior? I can condemn some of the actions of some of our players. can you or will you condemn what Peyton Manning did?

Several things. Nowhere does it say they were encouraged to get drunk like you claimed. Also, they were encouraged to have drinks with their families, not with the recruits, so that is strike two for you. next...are you saying you have never had a drink and driven? Now, I don't drink alcohol at all, so I can truthfully say I have not. Have you? Have you ever had a drink and then driven?

You just going to ignore the last part?
Judd's article, originally titled "UGA football program rallies when players accused of abusing women," claimed that 11 players remained on the team after reported violent encounters with women and/or the school. However, the AJC says the "'precise count of 11 players' could not be substantiated under the AJC’s standards."
Because of this, several paragraphs were deleted and the headline of the story was changed, per the AJC.
The headline now reads, "UGA football program rallied in two incidents when players were accused of abusing women," as the AJC says the two confirmed cases Judd wrote about were "accurate and newsworthy."
So, no. Georgia did not force the AJC to fire the writer as you claimed. The AJC fired him because he lied. Big difference. Now...about the University of Tennessee covering up rapes, sexual assaults and assaults.
And, I notice you still have not addressed Omari Thomas? Why is that? He assaulted two students and was caught on video, and nothing happened to him. He did not miss a single snap of football due to his assault.

I have no idea. I do believe that Omari Thomas assaulted two students on video and Huepel chose to ignore that.

Again, since you obviously chose to ignore my link the first time:
Former Georgia linebacker Adam Anderson was sentenced Monday in Athens-Clarke County (Georgia) Superior Court to a year in jail, according to multiple reports, after pleading guilty to the sexual battery of two young women.
Since the story I linked to was written July 24, 2023, I would assume he is not still in jail.

You really want to put shoving a fan up with UGAs crime spree?
Shoving a fan so hard he ran into a woman and both hit the ground? Assault? of course you still insist that McCullough was innocent, too...I tell you what....McCoullough plead guilty to assault. tsk, tsk, tsk. So two assaults. Thomas and McCoullough. One was held out of two game sand played the rest of the year, then plead guilty to assault, the other was caught on camera assaulting two student sand missed exactly zero snaps.
